Paint with organic, eco-friendly Earth Paints made from natural earth and mineral pigments. The naturally colored earthen clay was collected from the ground and crushed into pure pigment, just as our ancestors have done for over 100,000 years! Share in this ancient tradition in harmony with the natural world.



SunCommon Kids’ Science Table

SunCommon's kids' table will offer a variety of hands-on science activities for all ages, featuring magnetism, electricity, kid-generated power, circuitry, and solar energy! Parents can play along or chat with our community organizers while their children have fun with environmental STEM learning.



Robinson Wildlife Lectures

Location: Main Stage

Brian Robinson of Robinson Wildlife Lectures will be providing an educational wildlife presentation with live birds of prey and reptiles. His presentation will focus on the amazing adaptations these animals have as well as their importance in nature. He will also be discussing the incredible resiliency of the Hudson Valley and some of the success stories of our local wildlife. Bring the kids!

Established in 1968, Wildlife Lectures offers the highest quality wildlife programs that are both educational and entertaining. Bill and Brian Robinson are permanently certified teachers in the state of New York. With the use of live wildlife, they discuss the animals' adaptations for survival and the importance of all wildlife in the balance of nature.

Pop Up Sew In!

no sign up or experience required. Sewing machines and materials will be provided.

Instar Lodge's Pop Up Sew In began as a mother-son project to sew reusable grocery bags out of repurposed materials in response to overwhelming feelings about climate change. The project seeded an idea and will be a roving, monthly Community Action Club beginning September 2019. Working in collaboration with local schools and community businesses, all veggie bags are offered to the public by donation. All Pop Up Sew Ins are free and participatory. No sewing experience required. Sewing machines and materials will be provided.




Tour the YMCA Farm Project’s Urban Farm

Tours leave at 12pm and 1pm, and last 45 minutes

The YMCA Farm Project will be offering tours of their farm, which is directly next to the One Fair venue. Tour the farm to see what and how they grow, meet some of their fabulous youth farmers, and get to know this little urban oasis!

The Kingston YMCA Farm Project's mission is to educate, nourish and connect the community through their urban farm. They focus on community food production, community food access, farm-based education and youth development, using organic methods to grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables on their 1/3 of an acre farm, where their youth farm crew prepares, plants, nurtures, and harvests.
